Consolidation and Stabilisation

RED Industries offers consolidation and stabilisation processes that physically and chemically encapsulate wastes, preventing their release into the environment. Our process uses specialist mixing and waste handling technology to combine suitable non-flammable waste with a binder material to produce a uniform product that meets a specific waste acceptance criteria.

This enables us to accept wastes that other facilities cannot handle, store, or treat. Our process produces a material to a clearly defined output specification which can be directed to a suitable facility for secondary treatment to recover its energy value or disposed of appropriately in compliance with regulations.

We can also pre-treat your wastes to make them suitable for downstream energy recovery or high-temperature incineration. If there is no recovery value associated with your wastes, our pre-treatment processes transform them to a stable specification for disposal to either hazardous or non-hazardous landfill.

Examples of wastes suitable for treatment through consolidation includes:

  • Non-hazardous and hazardous aqueous waste
  • Haircare, beauty, and personal care products
  • Non-recoverable food products
  • Non-flammable liquids and sludges
  • Contaminated packaging, rags, and wipes
  • Water based paints
  • Filter cakes

Effective Waste Stabilisation Solutions for Environmentally Safe Disposal

RED Industries offers a waste stabilisation process that uses chemically active solid binder materials and water to create a solid matrix. This process chemically binds and treats the waste constituents, making them less harmful and reducing their escape into the environment. Our process utilises a cementitious binder material that combines water-based materials and your waste to produce a solid output that is lower risk and impervious to water, preventing the leaching of contaminants. Choose RED Industries for reliable waste stabilisation solutions.

Our stabilisation process produces a high-quality output that meets strict waste acceptance criteria, and depending on analysis after treatment is able to be safely and compliantly disposed of in either hazardous or non-hazardous landfills.
