The drive to succeed - new vehicles delivered Commercial vehicle contract hire and fleet management company, Prohire Limited has supplied four DAF Super Space Cab tractor units and three Montracon trailers on an all-inclusive contract hire package to sustainable waste management company, Red Industries. A round up of the latest waste industry news Drinks Packaging Deposit Return Scheme A new survey by Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) found that around 72% of people would support a deposit return scheme in the UK for aluminium cans and plastic & glass drinks bottles.  This shows high levels of support amongst those surveyed (YouGov surveyed 3,386 people for the poll). Community getting involved for Volunteers Week

Planting up takes place as part of Volunteers Week A big thank you to Edenhurst Preparatory School, Westlands Womens Institute, Borough Mayor Simon White, and Staffordshire Federation Womens Institute, and the Newcastle Borough Council Green Team for their support in freshening up the planters on Borough Road. Purple, green, and white plants were used to fill the refurbished planters - the colour theme of Women's Suffrage.  The project was created in partnership with Staffordshire Federation WI to celebrate their 100th anniversary.
