The Tower to Tower team are about to set off on their 560km journey... The team of 12, including our Chief Executive Adam, are embarking on an exhausting 560km journey from the Eiffel Tower, Paris to Tower Bridge, London.  They will be travelling by bike, boat, and boot all to raise money and awareness for the incredible Donna Louise charity. We won the Contribution to Community Award! The first Signal Radio Inspiration in Business Awards took place on Thursday 10th May at Wychwood Park.  The awards were a celebration of businesses and people including Entrepreneur of the Year, Training Excellence, and Lifetime Achievement. Landfill Communities Fund Spring Update

Spring 2018 highlights for the Red Industries Landfill Communities Fund. We're thrilled to have been able to award over £450,000 to projects in the local community since July 2017.  We've approved funding for a wide range of projects in the Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme area, from the erection of a colliery pit wheel as a tribute to the miners who lived and worked in the area through to the transformation of a cricket club's shower and changing facilities.  Here are just some of the highlights from the past few months... Another £250,000 awarded to local projects

We're delighted to have awarded even more money to projects in the local area We've had a number of applications to the Red Industries Landfill Communities Fund from not-for-profit organisations looking for funding for projects within 3 miles of our site.  At the last Committee Meeting, we awarded over £250,000 to local projects.  In total we have now approved over £300,000 worth of funding to projects in Staffordshire. Donna Louise Golf Day 2017

We were proud to be sponsors of the Donna Louise Golf Day 2017 at Trentham Golf Club. The annual golf day raises money for the hospice through the 30 teams attending as well as the evening auction, and raffle.  This year was the 13th year and a record breaking figure of over £18,000!  Well done to all the organisers and volunteers! The RED Industries Landfill Communities Fund - Staffordshire The RED Industries Landfill Communities Fund provides funding for local community and environmental projects within 3 miles of our Landfill site (Silverdale, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 6SB) and our Waste Processing Site (Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST6 2DZ). The Landfill Communities Fund benefits the local communities around a landfill site by providing funding support for projects to improve or enhance the local area.  Examples of projects that could be eligible for grant money include the development of a new playground, improving a changing room for a sports club, or expanding a community hall. Baddeley Green and Bucknall Parks get an uplift The Community Clean Up Team have been back out on the streets of Staffordshire, responding to requests from the local community in giving their parks a freshen up.  We're proud to be supporting Signal Radio's Big Community Clean Up this summer. Community Clean Up - Sneyd Green The first of the Big Community Clean Up projects took place this weekend at Sneyd Green Park. We're delighted to be supporting Signal 1's Community Clean Up project - working with local communities to improve their community areas.  We had several applications from residents around Sneyd Green Park asking for help in cleaning up the park so it was safe for kids to use.
