Logistics Administrator

The company has an exciting vacancy for a Logistics Administrator to join the Logistics department. This role will be based from the Brownhills transport office and will report to the Logistics Manager. The hours of work will be 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to complete the following duties:

  • Print collection paperwork for drivers including waste lists, notes and labels
  • Put labels in order of waste list to ensure speedy collections
  • Complete filing and data capture of company weight tickets from the transfer station weighbridge
  • Complete drivers daily check reports for Team Leaders assessment
  • Book third party collections with disposal / transport companies.
  • Book pallet service and business post
  • Enter data onto stock sheet and email out requirements and returns
  • Process driver expenses
  • Liaise with drivers and internal staff
  • Confirm collections with clients
  • Liaise with the outbound teams and transfer station operatives about labels and paperwork
  • Raise purchase orders for agency staff and other suppliers
  • General data entry and filing into vehicle files
  • Scan delivery tickets and store them in correct online files and links
  • Any other admin tasks required by office management

Ideal candidates should have good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel & Outlook; as well as having GCSE Maths and English qualifications.
