Red acquires Glasgow-based waste company

Hazardous waste specialists Red Industries have acquired the interests of Glasgow-based Ecolink Waste Management Ltd. Former Ecolink director Andy Thom has joined the Red team as Business Development Manager to provide continuity to former customers, who will receive the same services under the Red banner. The company plans to incorporate the locally-based waste collection service into its national waste collection coverage, using its existing Scottish presence through the Red processing facility at Kinglassie, Fife.
