Our Support For You

Environmental legislation has always demanded much compliance effort from waste producers, and the recent introduction of the new Hazardous Waste Regulations has made this even more onerous. A much wider range of wastes are now categorised as hazardous, and every company producing these wastes must now register annually with the Environment Agency and pay a fee for each waste collection.

In turn, every company’s chosen waste contractor must produce reports on all waste movements and deal with fee forwarding on behalf of their clients.

Taken together with the existing Duty of Care that impacts on all waste producers, any company’s waste manager faces a daunting task in meeting his or her legal responsibilities.

Red Industries supports and advises its customers so that the burden of legal compliance is reduced to an absolute minimum. Our procedures are designed to minimise paperwork and reassure the client, and by constantly monitoring developments we can identify new courses of action to most cost-efficiently meet the law’s requirements.
